Norbury House took on a new lease of life in May 2007 when your hosts Adam and Paula fell in love with Ilfracombe and this lovingly restored Victorian Gentleman’s residence.

Now transformed to provide stylish, contemporary yet comfortable surroundings it is not only the panoramic views over open countryside, proximity to the stunning coastal walks or the 10 minute stroll to the picturesque harbour and acclaimed Damien Hirst restaurant, The Quay, that makes this the place to stay.

Adam and Paula take great pleasure in welcoming all their guests with an old fashioned personal service that reflects the style of the property. The relaxed, friendly and natural atmosphere lends itself to the extra touches that make a visit to Norbury House unique, whether it’s helping yourself to a drink from the licensed cocktail bar, tea and biscuits in the Lounge or walking Bovril, the friendly Labrador.

Adam and Paula were previously based in London, Brighton and Bristol and have a long history of providing nothing but the best in hospitality. They have an enviable pedigree that encompasses operating bars, restaurants and late night venues as well as providing event management and development coaching. They look forward to meeting you soon.
